Council Elections 2019

District 4 (Western), District 6 (All of Ontario), and District 7 (Central Western)

Elections on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 12:00 pm

An election will be held for Council positions in Districts 4 (Southern) and District 6 (all of Ontario), and District 7 (Central Western). To be eligible for the district 6 seat, you must be a Contact Lens Mentor.

The successful candidates will begin serving a three-year term of office starting Wednesday, January 1, 2020.

Working with the College of Opticians is a rewarding way to contribute to public protection and the governing of the self-regulated profession of Opticianry. If you are a registered optician interested in using your knowledge and skill in the interest of public protection, you should consider seeking a nomination.
